Financial Philosophy For Saving Money & Financial Independence
My advice is to find your WHY as soon as you can.

Any financial advice is useless if the person receiving it doesn’t have any motivation to follow it.
This is why the idea of FIRE is extremely useful to me. “
Personally, I think this is so very true! Coming across FIRE is a game-changer. I’ve always been good at saving but that really pushed it up a notch. I hope financial independence can do the same for other people.
I think a lot of people aren’t motivated to save, because they think they’re stuck in the workplace until 65+ regardless, so why bother? Piki Living seemed to agree and this is why:
The long immovable timeline with no goal is a strong demotivator. With FIRE, you actually have a number you’re shooting for!”

Therefore, just the concept that you can influence your own financial independence with passive income is a big influence. However, perhaps FIRE is not a goal you want to aim for as you want to continue working.
Maybe it’s just the case that you should consider financial independence as a unique objective in itself. To which I will ask you to consider one last quote.
Work is noble and a necessity of life. But work is just a means to an end, not the end in and of itself. You were not meant to spend your life working just to provide the necessities of life.
No, you are meant to accomplish great things and elevate yourself out of modern serfdom to become the financially independent master of your own Fortune” – quoted from

Save, invest, apply minimalism is a great thought. Financial planning is not that tough if we do it in the right way. Spend less than you earn; invest savings wisely. This is what all need to do.
Hi Marks, thanks for your comment! I agree, although I think the investing part is perhaps the biggest hurdle for many.
