Buying individual stocks is a terrible idea, and I’m doing it anyway!

So, here’s the deal: conventional wisdom says that trying to pick individual stocks is a surefire way to lose your shirt. And you know what? For most people, that’s exactly how it goes. The data on fund managers consistently shows that they struggle to beat the market over the long haul.

But guess what? I’m diving headfirst into the world of individual stock investing, and against all odds, it’s paying off. I’m not just talking about a lucky streak either—it’s been trending up since February 2023, and the momentum just keeps building.

Now, don’t get me wrong—I’m not claiming to have stumbled upon some magic formula that’s turning me into an overnight millionaire. This is also definitely not financial advice, just an interesting personal experiment!

But I may have cracked the code on how to sniff out those hidden gems in the market—those diamonds in the rough that are flying under everyone else’s radar.

As of today, my portfolio is up a solid +21.48%, and I’m itching to see how far I can take this. It’s a wild ride, and I’d love for you to come along for the journey.

Oh, and just to give you a peek behind the curtain, my current Lightyear App investment kitty stands at a modest £308.22. But hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?
